"Avast" acquires Secure.me specialized in social networking security
Acquired "avast" AVAST, antivirus software, Inc. secure MI "Secure.me" focused on providing security for the users of social networks, without revealing the financial details of the deal.
And co-founder of "secure" Mario grobholz, the new deal represents a milestone in the company's history. Company blog wrote: "our goal will remain as it is, we will continue our commitment to provide a safe and simple for everyone, and we can offer it now on a much larger scale, with more power and more quickly."
And "secure" was founded in 2009 in response to the growing need for Internet users to protect their data and their privacy on social networks using different applications.
And privacy protection tool launched online in November 2011, and are among the most commonly used security applications on Facebook, and by more than 90 million account. It also runs application App Advisor which examines applications users to assess the degree of security to protect them from applications that link to their data both in the Web browser or the iOS system.
The CEO of "avast" Vincent stikler, the acquisition of "secure" enhances the company's place as a leader in the field of security.
The integration of modern technology possessed by "secure" security and privacy in their presentations, that would give customers more confidence in their experience online via desktop computers, or Tablet PCs or phones.
