Google local safety alerts appear in search results

Google local safety alerts appear in search results

Google intends to soon show local safety alerts from the police, Fire Department and other governmental authorities at the top of the search results, after its partnership with "niksl", specialized in the creation of the security sector technique.

It will be the ability of the local security agencies send alerts to appear in top search results from Google, Google maps, and alerts working Android phones by Google Now.

And Google "niksl" as the first partner works with "crisis response team". "Niksl" allows Nixle registration for persons receiving notifications via SMS to a mobile phone of crimes or lost persons, and other alerts from the police and fire departments.

As an example of a new system; in a town like Upper Darby "needles Derby" in Pennsylvania will send the police text message or email alert for people to be informed of the loss of a child or an accused or fled the approaching Typhoon.

In addition to the arrival of the message to the participants in the "niksl", everyone will be able to search in Google for weather city or any similar words, or be a resident in the city and looking for the word "hurricane" from seeing the alert prominently at the top of the search results, so it will show links lead to further information and actions required. Likewise alerts will appear on Google maps, users of Android phones by Google Now.

A spokesman for Google in the new alerts benefit statement "gives each one of the young officers in a small town to the Commissioner and the emergency departments, regardless of their budget, access to safety information concerning the location in time via Google, thus increasing the spread across hundreds of millions".
