Russia demands that social networks remove the contents "controversial"

The Russian Government requested from social networks, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, to delete some pages and sections and tweets it deems controversial officials, through a new law that gives it the ability to block or delete online content deemed illegal or harmful to children.

Last year, Russia produced erotic content controversial law regulating and filtering the contents of social sites on the Web, and the impact of law what user segments and calls to child abuse, drug abuse, and calls for extremism and suicide.

Law enforcement has been on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook to remove those contents, and has complied with the latter when the Russian Government asked him to remove a page promoting suicide, Facebook took away on its own of the incompatibility of the social network's policy page.

And Twitter has surrendered to the Government order, which removed some of the tweets that are related to the drugs and suicide, and applied a policy of "Twitter" that removes any Tweet you see.

The "YouTube" to delete a section Russian officials claimed that promote suicide, but the website later sued for the return of the section again, claiming it was a tutorial on making fake wounds.

There is some concern among Russian opposition forced the Government to act and misused to interfere in the Affairs of users.
