Bmw engine cooling system

Bmw engine cooling system

There is no doubt that heat is the number one enemy of the engine, when you increase the heat for a specific rate may experience engine to destroy internal parts; as a result of the increased pressure with increased heat, so the engine cooling system of sensitive systems in the vehicle and that there should be a clear idea of the components of the system and its working methods in order to keep the engine and ensure higher operational efficiency.
Function of the cooling system:
The combustion inside the engine produces great heat engine takes advantage of the part to move the car, and the surplus of this heat has a negative impact on the engine, so come post cooling system at their disposal.
Types of refrigeration systems:
1. water cooling and is used in all modern cars long.
2. cooling and refrigeration systems, is the first of the month uses models (ãæïíá81).

Air cooling system:

Each engine used in cars with air cooling systems of separate cylinders, manufactured outside of each cylinder shaped fins (fins on the surface of the radiator). The purpose of the fins is increasing the area endangered parts air to increase the cooling surface area in order to get rid of excess heat, plus installation pieces of Tin on these CDs to direct air to the cylinders.
Water cooling system:
The cooling system is in this by passing a coolant consisting of water and antifreeze liquid through the internal paths surrounding the cylinder engine called (shirts), the refrigerant collecting and disposing of excess heat.
The constituent parts of the cooling system:
1. refrigerant Coolant.
2. radiator Radiator.
3. the surplus of water tank (bagpipes).
4. water motor pathways (cooling shirts).
5. thermal fuse Thermostat.
6. water pump water pump.
7. cooling fan Cooling fan.

Work of the cooling system parts:
1. liquid cooling:

Coolant water consists in addition to Ethylene glycol antifreeze and waterproofing material, added by 50%, it is recommended to use antifreeze has been added to the water in summer is also due to raise the temperature of the boiling water, it also contains material which prevents rust and corrosion.
2. t-shirts:

An internal passages in the engine block Engine block on drums, along with the presence in the cylinder head cylinder head with cold water, and in these corridors in order to absorb excess heat.
3. radiator:

Is the main part in cooling system, is on getting rid of excess heat of refrigerant to the atmosphere, it also acts as a coolant tank, and often demonstrate in front of the car to confront the outside air, and makes the radiator of heat such as hot plug copper or aluminium.
4. surplus tank (bottle):
The balradiater reservoir overflow pipe, makes this a clear plastic tank with external signs to determine the water level, the significance of this tank in it when the engine temperature coolant rushes hot radiator overflow tank, when the cooling liquid is due back to the radiator, this tank is supplied with coolant or water when you note the lack of fluid.
5. water pump:

The water pump to pump water into the system, and derives its strength from the movement of the pulley installed takes on GEF column (column of Karnak).
6. valve temperature (thermostat):

The valve works, and controls the water flow to the radiator and the optimum temperature for keeping the engine, that is when you increase engine temperature for ideal class this valve opens and allows the passage of coolant to the radiator to cool down, then back up to the engine again.
7. cooling fan:

The cooling fan is working to increase the amount of air that passes through the radiator, and show the importance of the fan when running the engine if the vehicle stops (in this case, less the amount of air which collides balradiater so we find the fan running on the spot when the car is stopped).
