Did you know that stress activates memory?

Did you know that stress activates memory?

A new study showed that stress may improve normal memory, which will help scientists' understanding of the disease post-incident stress or trauma may provide a way to deal with it.

The Web site (York Walter) U.S. study conducted by researchers at the Czech Academy of Sciences and the University Medical Center in New York, and the Rockefeller University on rats found that stress can be a way to improve normal memory and is associated with the thing that caused stress.

He said one of those responsible for the study at the University (New York), Andre Fenton 'Our results show that stress can activate memory, even though this was not associated memory stressful experience'.

He added that the issue needs more investigation to see whether the effects of stress on memory could shed light on the post-incident stress or trauma and other mental illnesses related to stress'

The researchers noted that their findings show that the re-activation is associated with memories of the incident stressors in rats, led them to develop the hypothesis that post-traumatic stress in humans might reactivate memories of the incident.
