Arc GIS Desktop and the functions of many of them work on the maps and edit, view, and display digital data and dealing with classes and add some elements of such a scale drawing maps and map key. 2 - Program (Arc Catalog) is a program that helps to organize and manage GIS data also contains tools for browsing and searching for geographic information and logs and display information documentary GIS files. 3 - Program (Arc Toolbox), a simple program contains tools GIS The program conversion between formats different files geographic information systems and there are two versions of this program first supports convert 150 format of these files and program comes with a system (Arc Info) and programThese three programs are designed to deal with each other to implement all the tasks of geographic information systems for example can search for a file a geographic information system using Arc Catalog been open this file and view it and analyze it in the program Arc Map and that double-clicking on the file and then edit and improve this file by tools that are available in the program Arc Map can use Arc Toolbox program to export this file to another type. The share of these three versions in the general characteristics among themselves, where any user can share files from any version to another can also install any extensions (Extensions) on any of the three versions. The system is the first (Arc View) is only available to work on a single device (Single user) and the multi-user network system while the rest of the copies are not available systems to work on a single device, but for the networks only.
