I'm in the first month! What are the first steps of nutrition?

At the moment, only one moment where time stands to tell you're pregnant! The time for joy and celebration for you and your family! At the same moment the chart and start, if your baby room is furnished in your imagination you parked ... Then standing time with you again the moment of choosing a name ... Of course!

Usually start if nausea and vomiting at this stage, any first trimester of pregnancy. Don't worry, because this feeling often disappears entirely at the end of the third month. Here are some suggestions that may help you:

1. eat food rich in carbohydrates before getting out of bed by about 15-20 minutes, for example: cakes, salty biscuits, toast or whole grain breakfast cereals.

2. arrange the three to 6 meals snacks on your stomach during the day.

3. eat easy to digest foods. Mix pasta, potato, rice or bread with low-fat protein source such as low-fat meat, chicken awalsmk, plus low-fat milk and dairy for breakfast and dinner.

4. drink liquids between meals, not with them.

5. stay away from fatty foods, fried foods, sweets and spices. This may be difficult to digest and might increase the feeling of nausea.

Do you start taking vitamins and minerals?

After your doctor may advise taking folic acid during the first month or so, if you are preparing for pregnancy. Folic acid supplements are very important for normal development of the fetus.

Make sure also that you eat food rich in folic acid:

• Green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, parsley, watercress ...

• Whole wheat bread and whole grains

• Pulses, like lentils, beans and chickpeas.

Good to remember:

Avoid eating any kind of meat raw or half-cooked, they contain bacteria that may affect the health of the fetus. Forbidden foods during pregnancy include the liver, bone marrow and raw unpasteurized cheeses, half cooked steak, sushi or sashimi containing raw fish.
